What is the difference between a Newsletter and Autoresponder message? Watch video
Newsletters are one-time messages sent to chosen campaigns, segments or manually selected contacts. It is a great tool for letting your customers know about new offers, updates and promotions.
Autoresponders are messages set to go out automatically. They help you automate campaigns and manage one-to-one communication with your recipients. There are two types you can create:
Time-based autoresponders are sent in a sequence at intervals calculated starting from the day a contact opts in to your campaign (e.g. Day 0, 3, 7, 14).
Event-based autoresponders are sent when the subscriber performs an action you specify e.g clicks the link, opens the message, changes his personal information, reaches a goal you’ve set, receives a specified autoresponder message, subscribes to your campaign or reaches a special date you designate.
